Job Description

A large defense contractor located in Vista, CA is looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join their team. The team is producing scanning equipment and the electromechanical assembler will be responsible for assembling cables, wires, harnesses, panels, enclosures, and small sub-assemblies. Wires will range from single to multi gage conductors including cat5, cat6, and coax cable. Responsibilities include cutting and crimping wire, soldering, and installing components and devices. The assembler will utilize measuring tools such as multi-meters, continuity checker, calipers, tape measure, and ruler to verify conformity of product. The assembler will interpret schematics, drawing, and schematics. Shift options are 6:00AM - 2:30PM and 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

Skills and Requirements

2-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly

Experience with panel wiring, terminal crimping, and soldering

Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and work instructions

High school diploma Current or expired certification in IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721, or J-standard

ESD awareness - electrostatic discharge null
