Power Plant Services Field Machinist in United States

Role Overview:

  • Manage on-site equipment repair assignments to meet urgent customer needs.

  • Setup and operate manual machining equipment including:

  • Lathes

  • Mills

  • Grinders

  • Inspect and ensure all work areas are clean daily.

  • Demonstrate best-in-class safety practices in all machine operations and activities.

  • Assist teammates with challenging jobs to support a collaborative, team-first environment.

  • Field Machinist will travel locally in state, or out-of-state.

  • Field Machinist must be willing to work a schedule indicated by your employer including:

  • Long hours

  • Weekends

  • Holidays

  • OT

    Success Criteria:

  • Demonstrated skills in operating manual machines to fulfill a variety of part repairs or product manufacturing assignments.

  • Willingness to work demanding work schedules to include seven days per week and up to 12 hours shifts.

  • Ability to understand and apply machining techniques, in a fast-paced environment, and be self-motivated.

  • Walking/Standing for a duration of 12 hours, ability to heavy lifting, troubleshoot and adjust machines as needed.

  • Experience in the use of precision measuring equipment.
