As the Area Sales Manager , you will become somewhat of an expert of our product range. You will engage with our vertical end users / manufacturers to identify tooling requirements to essentially develop our End User/Contracts business. Reporting into the Technical Team Manager, you will identify tooling needs to enhance productivity whilst showcasing Stanley Black & Decker’s capabilities in supporting our UK Manufacturers across hand tools, power tools and storage.

In addition to working with our existing portfolio, we are looking for someone who can seek out new opportunities through various means (social media, local advertising, press etc) to inevitably grow our business.

This is a field based role and will therefore incur travel throughout the South West (either side of M5 corridor) 3-4 day's per week on average.

What are we looking for?

• Working knowledge of hand and/or power tools

• Experience in a Sales capacity

• A confident and articulate communicator with excellent presentation skills

• Commercially minded and astute

• Full clean UK driver’s license with flexibility to travel
