Position Summary:Ensuring “best-in-class” compliance with the local/international trade rules (export/import, sanctioned countries, anti-bribery and other related issues). Managing the day-to-day trade compliance issues for all Doosan Bobcat EMEA business units. Developing efficient and “user-friendly” procedures and policies aimed at mitigating the trade compliance risks. Monitoring these procedures and policies. Keep on being up-to-date on trade compliance regulation so to be able to provide adjourned, effective and viable solutions.

Role & Responsibility

Managing day-to-day trade compliance issue:

• Processing the trade compliance requests within the requested deadline, and with the support of the trade compliance software (Amber Road).

• Maintaining documented records of all the trade compliance decisions.

• When relevant, work in conjunction with other Trade Compliance departments in North America and Korea.

Developing, maintaining, monitoring procedures and policies:

• Developing procedures/policies in all the DI CE EMEA business units.

• Ensuring proper education of the users and creating user-friendly Trade Compliance manuals.

• Auditing the procedures on a yearly basis.

• Creating trade compliance education materials and providing trade compliance training to all employees, with a specific focus on commercial departments.

Trade compliance regulation:

• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the trade compliance rules.

Job Requirement

• Education & Qualification: Legal – Bachelor’ s Degree / Allow Equivalent

• Experience: 7-10 years

• Travel Standard: < 20%

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in international trade compliance matters

• Global Breadth: Multi-Site (> One Location)

• Any course or certificate related to trade compliance is a plus but not a “must have” (the professional must be ready to follow courses to upgrade his/her knowledge)

• Comprehensive understanding of import/export regulations and other laws and regulations governing international trade.

• Ability to interpret government regulations and translate them into strategic impact on company goals.

• Ability to translate complex rules in user-friendly procedures and policies.

• Understands risks related to import and export compliance

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment.

• Strong customer focus, including timely follow up and sense of urgency.

• Must possess proven presentation skills including the ability to effective implement and conduct training programs.

• High communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with the internal and external stakeholders involved in the process
