JOB SUMMARY :
Tracks the services and repairs/maintenance of CNC machine tools and other mechanical equipment, installs and/or moves machinery and equipment, and performs other plant maintenance and repair work under minimum supervision.
Scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC lathes and mills, compressors, drills, presses, etc.
Installs and moves machinery and equipment when necessary.
Diagnoses operating problems and performs simple corrections on various types of machinery when possible.
Replaces, rebuilds and/or overhauls worn out or broken parts as required.
May assist in the handling, collecting, disposing/distributing of hazardous materials.
Maintains a safe and clean work area.
Performing trouble shooting of CNC lathes and mills repairs a plus.

Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Requires a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in CNC machine tool maintenance and repair, with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical skills necessary.
Must be able to read, write and understand English, follow verbal and written instructions, and read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, plans and sketches.
Must be able to use and read a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and all required electrical measuring and testing devices.
Must perform simple installations such as running piping for air, gas and water as well as electrical conduit and wires.
