DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this position, you will be in charge of overseeing the upkeep and construction of roads, infrastructure, and facilities in Franklin and Fulton Counties, specifically within the Bear Valley maintenance division. This division operates independently from the Resource Management Center and focuses on managing maintenance and trade workers who handle tasks like repairing state forest roads, facilities, and equipment, as well as protecting wildlands from wildfires. Your role will be vital in supporting the Forest District Manager and Assistant Forest Managers in accomplishing the objectives and mission of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Bureau of Forestry. Additionally, you will also serve as a State Forest Officer and Forest Fire Warden.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Four years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience which includes one year in the operation of small and medium size construction or agricultural equipment; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license. This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class A Commercial Driver's License.
