Amazon Finance Manager - Program Finance, JP Store Finance in Tokyo, Japan

We are hiring a Finance Manager in JP Store Finance to partner with teams across Japan Prime & Marketing organization, including Variable Marketing, Deals & Events, and Customer Growth & Engagement. In this role, you will provide financial planning, analysis, controllership and insights to enable data-driven decision making and long-term growth. Key job responsibilities
Partner across business teams to expand customer life-cycle frameworks and identify growth opportunities
Lead long term planning for Marketing, Deal Event and Customer Growth and Engagement to identify investment gaps and promote growth
Evaluate and control marketing and deal investments, its financial efficiency and their impact on JP Store PnL
Collaborate with marketing teams to analyze campaign performance and refine future budget allocation
Synthesize data into compelling narratives and presentations for senior leadership
Manage competing priorities and shifts in direction with flexibility and focus
About the team
The role will be under JP Store Finance organization partnering with JP Prime and Marketing Finance located in Tokyo.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Tokyo, 13, JPN
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
Language requirements: Business fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
