Essential Functions
Match, review and verify invoices and check requests for posting
Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
Set invoices up for payment
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintain vendor files
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Assist with month end closing
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or educational equivalent. 4 years' experience. Knowledge of accounting and procurement practices. Basic knowledge of company pay policies & procedures. Detail oriented. Effective communication skills.
Position Summary
Under direct supervision, handles complex tasks within accounts payable and/or accounts receivables. May provide functional advice and training to lower-level employees. Monitors status of third-party orders requiring payments and assists lower-level specialists. Handles special projects, as assigned.
