The Fire, Safety, and Security Products group at Carrier is a global organization dedicated to providing product and technology designed to protect people and property. Notable brands within the group are Kidde, Edwards, Lenel, Supra, Onity, Fenwal, Det-Tronics, Fireye, Interlogix and GST. We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our growing Fireye Sales Team.

The Key Account manager will be responsible to develop our South America, Carribean, and Mexico Fireye channel within the Industrial and Commercial Fire Combustion product offerings. Reporting and strategizing all sales activities to the Senior District Manager and Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key Account development and account management

  • High levels of sales activity with end users, contractors and consultants working within the commercial market area

  • Assisting customers with the selection of equipment for their projects, alongside the pre-sales application team

  • Ability to communicate across a level of commercial tiers

  • Calculation of energy and lifecycle analysis to support sales and specification of Fireye solutions

  • Pipeline management and follow up

  • Proactive approach to the market

  • Ideal candidate should reside close to a major airport.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of Key Account management experience

  • Due to the nature of the role, the candidate MUST be bilingual

  • Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong network management skills

  • Prior knowledge in the Industrial/Commercial Fire Combustion sales or technician space

  • Challengermindset

  • Sales hunting mentality

  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial refrigeration industry within North America

  • Experienced in management and updating of sales pipeline

  • Has experiences of working with tools like Salesforce or similar

  • Knowledge of digital tools suitable for sales such as LinkedIn, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint
