MOLDING SUPERVISOR III

JOB OVERVIEW:

The position isresponsible for production and quality withfocus on productivity. Getting involved in production and new products introduction support activity. Coordinate with operators and engineers to implement TE Operating Advantage tools. To ensure 5S+1 level at all times at highest level. Maintaining shop discipline is more essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review and update Competency Level for Technicians and Operators

2. Upkeeping the machines in running conditions.

3. Ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.

4. Educate and Provide training to production team, evaluate, and maintain the training records.

5. Ensure work practices and compliance to work safety protocols at all times.

6. Organize and supervise daily activities and ensure smooth operations.

7. Drive TEOperating Advantageculture in shop floor.

8. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement.

9. Monitor closely of the production processes and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

10. Implement a reaction plan in the event of any abnormal or non-conforming issues and specify a course of action to be taken.

11. Conducting Go meeting /PIM meeting-Review with Group leaders.

12. Manage the performance of the team to meet or exceed targets: productivity levels, quality standards, and utilization/efficiency objectives (OEE).

13. Explore and identify future improvements, & cost saving initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering Courses

2. 10+ Years of Experience and practitioner in the field of Production

3. 5+ Years of experience as Molding Supervisor.

4. People Management, Business Unit Product Knowledge, and Leadership Skills

5. SAP knowledge is an edge.

6. Product Process Control knowledge

7. Has knowledge in Planning, Leading, Organizing and Controlling

8. Willing to be assign in either Molding or Stamping Department

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Molding Teams operate assigned automated molding machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
