Machinist

We are seeking a CNC / Lathe Machinist to join our team in Sweetwater, TX. The CNC Machinist is responsible for the production of precision machining and assembly equipment. This is a full-time position located in Sweetwater, TX.

*Job Requirements: *

• Must be proficient in the use of CNC machines.
• Vocational / technical school training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum (2) two years of experience with CNC machined parts and/or manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education and training (either directly or through an accredited program).

*Desired Skills: *

• Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and designs.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail a must.
• Prolonged periods of standing and bending required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

*Job Responsibilities: *

Perform all aspects of CNC machine operation, including cutting and finishing parts.

Ensure proper tooling is used with precision tools such as saws, mills, etc.

Inspects machinery for any needed repairs; perform minor repairs within expertise.
