Detail Manager

The Detail Manager supervises all the activities of detail department and the attainment of Lithia’s quality targets. The Detail Manager interacts with the Sales and Service departments to meet customer needs and dealership objectives.

The Detail Manager reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

· Supervise the detail department team.

· Monitor and maintain detail department inventory.

· Verify all applicable delivery vehicle information, i.e. vehicle inspection sheet, correct equipment, etc.

· Inspect repair orders daily for legibility, accuracy and legality. Vehicle cycle time should be 72 hours or less.

· Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner.

· Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed.

· Inspect and maintain the cleanliness, organization and appearance of all service areas in accordance with state and federal OSHA laws to ensure a professional, safe environment for customers and employees.

· Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
