This is a fixed-term hybrid-eligible position to last 1 year.

Job Purpose:

The position will be working with in the Cross Platform Technologies team within Enterprise Technology (ET) in University IT (UIT). This position requires a good combination of functional and technical knowledge of CRM Technology, Data Science ,Artificial Intelligence features for different enterprise applications like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle financials,SAP. A successful candidate will have demonstrated a track record of delivering quality solutions providing with the highest value to the Organization and solid technical expertise on CRM and Artificial Intelligence technology. The candidate should have experience in performing production support activities including, and not limited to, maintaining system configurations, data cleanup, testing, filing/resolving service requests, and estimating enhancements.

The Cross Platform Technologies team is responsible for the support, maintenance, operations, and upgrades of Salesforce, ServiceNow as well as other third party/custom applications/integrations and applications custom developed internally at Stanford. The team also supports custom applications integration with other Enterprise systems and Enterprise Data Warehousing.

Core Duties:

  • Propose, conceptualize, implement, and develop solutions from end to end and be responsible for the development of scalable, maintainable components and documentation.

  • Development, testing, debugging, change control, and documentation for major projects within the program.

  • Collaborate with other developers as necessary, working on all phases of the application development lifecycle.

  • Contribute on defining complex CRM application development administration and programming standards.

  • Support, maintenance, operation, and upgrades of applications.

  • Resolve complex technical problems.

  • Review and optimize the performance of the current system as needed.

  • Work with other technical developers and administrators to develop standard documentation, processes, and procedures.

  • Stay up to date on the constantly evolving space of AI technologies and incorporate changes on this space to different systems

  • Other duties may also be assigned

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field and 3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.

  • Knowledge of enterprise CRM application.

  • Knowledge of building KPI , dashboard in an enterprise data ware house system.

  • Knowledge on artificial intelligence.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing, testing, and deploying applications.

  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of software development lifecycle and quality control practices.

  • Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.

  • Demonstrated experience of working on structured team development projects.

  • Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.

  • Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and/or operations procedures.

  • Working knowledge on Agile development process

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Experience of working on an Enterprise CRM application is required.

  • Experience of building KPI and dashboards on enterprise Datawarehouse or data lake solution is required.

  • Experience of working on Artificial intelligence projects

  • Experience in container tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Experience in Cloud platform like AWS or GCP is required

  • Experience in Python is required

  • Experience in Apache Spark / SQL for data transformation is required

  • Experience in one of the programming language like C,C++,Java or Golang is required

  • Experience in Git for code version control is required

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is hybrid eligible. Must be able to come into the Stanford Redwood City, California office at least two days a week per current hybrid work arrangement.

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

  • Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.

  • Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand.

  • Rarely use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

The expected pay range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 per annum.
