Copeland Regional Marketing Events Manager in St. Louis, Missouri

If you are a MARKETING AND EVENTS professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our ST. LOUIS location, you will drive you will drive end-to-end management of in-person tradeshows, training & events.

AS A REGIONAL MARKETING EVENTS MANAGER, YOU WILL:

Overall Management / Strategic Development

  • Work with business units to determine event goals and KPIs, develop booth layout that meets needs and collaborate with internal / external design teams to develop graphics & messaging

  • Provide business units with recommendations for various size shows and events and communicate options and gain alignment before budgets need to be submitted

  • Drive schedule and execution of events through utilization of Monday.com to provide visibility to enterprise-wide events, trainings and tradeshows

  • Develop marketing events briefs for shows to identify target audience, key messaging, theme, KPIs, key stakeholders, show tactics, budget, etc.

  • Schedule and run planning meetings for all stakeholders

Pre/During Event

  • Work with content and marketing automation teams to create and send pre-event customer invitations and communications regarding logistics (example – Copeland Customer Event)

  • Work with content team to develop on-site brand and product graphics that align with Enterprise guidelines

  • Create, manage and execute tradeshow promotional plans (example PR, social, digital, email) intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads

  • Manage internal show communications (i.e. attendee email campaigns, playbook, training / webcast sessions, booth duty schedules, event support schedules, competitive and customer assignments, etc.)

  • Work side-by-side with exhibit partner to coordinate products & displays, freight shipment, show services & other logistics

  • Work with company store team to procure show apparel and giveaway items to optimize spend and reinforce Copeland brand

  • Ensure set up and teardown is handled appropriately either in-person or by hired supervision

  • Manage to event budget; handle billing, breakout changes and chargebacks as needed

Event Measurement

  • Work with digital team to build comprehensive badge scan / lead gen program for all BUs within the booth, funneling those leads into specific campaigns / sales funnels

  • Ensure BUs are prepared with necessary tools to build out respective demand generation forms and have access to technology for lead generation (includes training on badge scan tool and meetings with Digital Team to build BU-specific form template)

  • Report key metrics to Enterprise Marketing post-event

Asset Management

  • Overall management of display inventory and warehousing, purge cycles etc.

  • Maintain inventory of Enterprise-level exhibit display assets (tables, pedestals, signage, backdrops, & graphics). Purge & purchase / rent as needed

  • Drive self-service model by organizing “kits” for smaller shows and events

WHO YOU ARE:

You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography. You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. You maintain relationships across a variety of functions and locations.

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours

This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers. You identify and seize new opportunities. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in event management, marketing communications, or integrated marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business/Marketing/English/Communications degree preferred)

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously

  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly solve challenges/problems

  • Ability to manage and grow relationships with cross-functional teams

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
