Actalent Assembly Manufacturing Engineer in Sarasota, Florida

Description:

Assembly Manufacturing Engineer will oversee and optimize manufacturing processes within the Assembly operation. This role involves applying insights from Machine automation, fabrication, tooling, and materials, collaborating with equipment vendors, and gathering feedback from operators. The engineer will be responsible for the equipment supporting both manual and automated assembly operations, driving process improvements consistently working from the

process design to creation to the supporting of equipment. They will design manufacturing equipment, control manufacturing processes, monitor manufacturing metrics and analyze data to improve the manufacturing processes. A key aspect of this position is a strong commitment to continuous improvement on an annual basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in assembly

  • Controls experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, PLC programming)

  • Automated equipment experience

  • Strong project management skills

  • Manufacturing change process and process documentation experience

  • Machine and process troubleshooting experience
