Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Accounting Analyst reports to the local Controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.

The scope of responsibility requires individual initiative to assimilate data from various sources, analyze and report the data. To qualify, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with one to three years of relevant experience. In addition, responsible for acting in compliance with local regulations and Corporate Policies and the US GAAP as well.

Typical duties/responsibilities for field service may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Alert to local Controller regarding any irregularity, lack of compliance, lack of adherence, and problems whether actual or potential concerning the financial systems, the financial operations, the financing plans, the accounting, the audits, the budgets and any other matter of a financial nature or which could or does have a financial implication.

  2. Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.

  3. Assist with annual external audit. Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.

  4. Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.

  5. Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Must be detail oriented, analytical and have strong communication and customer service skills

  2. Bachelor's degree from university.

  3. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.

  4. Highly developed analytical and organizational skills

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
