Manufacturing Engineering Technician

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in our Salisbury, NC facility.
Candidates should expect a fast-paced, growth environment and have experience quality management in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes
Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans
Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities for increased overall equipment effectiveness
Documents and analyzes work processes to improve process flow and process control during New Product Builds and existing builds
Perform time studies on all product builds
Assists in the development of standard work and process work instructions for all product lines
Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and related tooling, equipment or process issues
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of directly relevant working experience.
Knowledge of:
Assembly Line product implementation and workflow
Lean principles and tools
Excellent computer skills including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to:
Ability to work with diverse teams
Excellent interpersonal skills
Communicate complex information to all levels of employees and customers both verbally and written
Assess workload and develop priorities in a fast growing organization
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Physical Demands:
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
