About This Role :

Comscore is seeking Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developer to join a growing automation team. Their primary responsibility is to establish the playbook for analyzing an existing manual business process and automating it.

The RPA Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of various automation solutions throughout the organization. Utilizing UiPath’s software for development, this position will also review business processes, create technical documentation, complete user acceptance testing, and monitor post-implementation.

The RPA developer will also be assisting with supporting web applications built in .NET framework. Additionally, some processes will require a combination of hands-on SQL, Dot Net, VBA, Access Macro and Excel Macro knowledge to redesign existing processes, so they are ready to be incorporated into RPA. This position requires a willingness to get deep into the details and move projects forward, even when there is minimal documentation and a high degree of ambiguity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deliver automated business processes through robotic technology (UiPath)

  • Use a combination of VB, VBA, Dot Net, Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, UiPath and other technologies to create end to end automations that minimize human touch

  • Have end to end ownership of the full automation lifecycle, assess existing processes, scope new solutions and implement them.

  • Solve simpler technical challenges

  • May work in cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues

  • Participate in ongoing research and evaluates new systems

  • Perform discrete coding tasks; works in a single work stream

  • Solve problems of limited scope in a timely manner; fixes bugs; changes minor features

  • Follow set coding standards

  • Maintain system; provides limited product support

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

  • 2+ years of progressively complex experience implementing automation solutions

  • Hands-on experience in developing and/or supporting web applications is highly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures, database design is preferred

  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and/or JavaScript is highly preferred.

  • Business understanding or hands on automation experience in IT, Finance or Operations highly preferred

  • Expert Excel Macro/VBA skills with experience taking a manual workbook and redesigning it so it is easier to automate (dynamic formulas, macros)

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skill sets; comfortable working directly with stakeholders in the US, Europe, and other locations around the world

  • Some experience with web services and consuming APIs is a plus.

  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication

  • Aptitude/desire to code

Shift timing:

The regular hours for this position will cover a combination of business hours in the US and India – typically 2:30pm-11pm IST. Occasionally, later hours may be required for meetings with teams in other parts of the world. Additionally, for the first 4-6 weeks of onboarding and training, US Eastern time hours (IST -9:30) may be required.

This will be a foundational role on our Pune-based GL team during a time of exponential growth for Comscore in Pune. The candidate for this role will be one of the first GL hires in Pune and will work with Comscore teams around the world on work vital to the future of Comscore and our clients.
