Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern

The Hourly rate for this position is $25 per Hour.

What you’ll do:

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will support current manufacturing engineers in the creation and updates of digital work instructions. Responsible for supporting the ME that they are assigned to work with which may change as work instructions are completed. This position is located in Orchard Park, NY.

• Responsible for adhering to the Safety protocols of the site

• Generate and revise Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions in standard or digital format (VKS)

• Work with technicians in cells to understand process

• Be able to manipulate solid works models for use in digital work instructions

• Work on multi projects and in a team environment

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled and must be at least a Junior in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee or Refugee. Must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US.)

• Experience with SolidWorks or a similar 3D modeling software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Be able to work individually or with a team

• Experience in cobot/robotic set-up/programming
