Do you have a passion for news and business? The Custom Productions Unit is looking for a Production Coordinator who is excited about creating engaging content while working with sponsors and partners across the NBCUniversal News Group platforms. You will report to the Coordinating Producer while supporting the entire team through all stages of production for linear, digital, events, and social platforms. As part of the team, you will interface with brands and internal stakeholders including executives, legal, standards, and on-air talent to assist in highly produced strategic content while maintaining editorial standards. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to organizing team trackers, meetings, and other documents

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines and workflow needs

  • Build production decks and recap materials for the team and clients

  • Oversee ongoing client engagements and workstreams

  • Support producers on team projects through all stages of production, including potential travel on-location for shoots and events

  • Handle confidential information and materials regarding collaborations with clients 

Please Note: This is a project/limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Salary range: $20.00-$27.00/hour. 

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in journalism, marketing/business, or communications with an interest in storytelling.

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Avid, Slack, and Google Docs 

  • Proficiency with hybrid meeting tools including Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
