Not-for-Profit legal organization Lambda Legal Education and Defense Fund (New York, NY) seeks Chief of Planning and Program Management to:Analyze management, data sets and operational problems to change and improve business processes for efficiency and effectiveness; Build the Project Management Office (PMO) from inception including drafting new PMO policies and processes and selecting an enterprise wide PMO software; Organize and align priorities with Executive and Senior management teams to operationalize and monitor strategic plan; Manage and track organization-wide projects and operations projects; Help determine key performance indicators, develop tools, and monitor dashboards to empower employees and increase accountability; Collaborate with internal communications staff to support the operations and executive teams on internal communications; Work with the COO to provide input on operations communications, including rollout of forms and policies; Institute, and, as needed, lead, cross-functional project teams that effectively define and manage deliverables and timelines, facilitate decision making, and outline risk mitigation strategies; Plan and execute projects strategically; Identify and resolve project team challenges; Maintain effective communication within project teams; Build end-user confidence and assume responsibility for solving end-user problems related to strategic operations challenges.Requirements: Must possess an MBA or Master of Public Administration degree.Must possess five (5) years of experience as a consultant or policy advisor/analyst advising public and private sector entities on developing and implementing strategies to improve organizational efficiency and operational systems.
