About the Role

Prepares complex workpapers, tax returns, audit responses, and research to support tax compliance and planning initiatives.

As a Restructure Analyst, you can expect to:

  • Preparing and analyzing complex tax compliance, audit, and/or provision computations.

  • Working closely with internal and external business partners to ensure appropriate information is gathered, analyzed, and proficiently conveys information to tax managers on tax implications.

  • Leading or supporting projects related to process improvements, implementation of controls, or global tax initiatives.

  • Researching and analyzing tax regulations to document tax positions, optimize enterprise tax impact, and model tax impacts of proposed legislation with oversight by management.

  • Analyzing and developing responses to support tax authority inquiries with oversight by management.

What You Have

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Financial and Accounting Systems: Knowledge of functions, features and capabilities of financial and accounting systems; ability to use financial and accounting applications specific to the organization.

  • Tax Management: Knowledge of tax laws, organizational tax practices, obligations; ability to manage organization tax related issues.

  • Tax Operations: Knowledge of tax practices and regulations; ability to prepare and file federal, state and local tax returns.

  • Tax Regulations: Knowledge of federal, state and local tax procedures and regulations; ability to adhere to tax regulations when filing forms as they pertain to a particular business or industry

  • Research Analysis: Knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and methods of research analysis; ability to locate, interpret and evaluate research findings compiled and documented by others.
