This is a hybrid-remote position and will report to the office in Mineral Point, Spring Green, or Platteville, WI, depending on where the candidate resides. Travel is estimated to be 20%, only consisting of day trips to job sites and other field/corporate offices in our service territory. Candidates must reside in Wisconsin. What you will do In this role you will work both independently and with other engineers and employees to support operations, troubleshoot power quality and operational issues, review distributed generation interconnection applications, perform technical analysis related to system design and system protection, and plan improvements / modifications to our system to maintain affordability and reliability while it continues to evolve with the changing energy needs of society. You will help us achieve our goal of providing a modern and resilient grid that serves the needs of our customers safely, efficiently, and responsibly.
