Job Summary:

The HR Shared Services Supervisor I plays a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the HR Shared Services team. This position involves supervising a team of HR Analysts, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The HR SSC Supervisor I will be responsible for managing various HR processes, addressing employee inquiries, and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR Shared Services operations.

Accountabilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of HR Shared Services Analysts, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, providing guidance, mentorship, support, and managing their performance.

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes within the shared services center, such as optimizing workflows, reducing errors, and enhancing efficiency.

  • Providing training to new team members on HR processes, systems, and tools. Also, facilitating ongoing development opportunities for existing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Monitoring the quality of service delivery within the HR Shared Services team, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing employee inquiries and concerns related to HR services, and fostering a culture of responsiveness and service excellence.

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the HR SSC to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to established processes and procedures.

  • Generating reports and analyzing data related to HR transactions and service delivery metrics, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.

  • Setting performance goals and expectations for team members, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to support their professional development.

  • Collaborating with other HR teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of HR initiatives and effective communication across the organization.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and company policies in all HR Shared Services activities, including data protection, privacy, and employment laws.

  • Addressing escalated issues and resolving complex HR-related inquiries or concerns in a timely and effective manner.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of HR processes, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring accessibility for team members and compliance purposes.

  • Ensuring that the HR Shared Services team meets or exceeds established SLAs for response times, resolution times, and service quality.

  • Providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the performance and impact of HR Shared Services initiatives, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a supervisor/in HR/Operations or related roles.

  • Previous experience in HR Shared Services is advantageous.

  • Demonstrate leadership potential, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team. Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills are also important.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously is crucial in a supervisory role.

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address employee inquiries effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex HR information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations is essential. Should be familiar with HR processes such as employee onboarding, benefits administration, performance management

  • Experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in HR policies, procedures, and systems.

  • Awareness of HR-related laws, regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the HR field.

  • Can handle sensitive and confidential information and should demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in all aspects of work.

  • Experience in managing projects is valuable.
