We are looking for a student to join the GE Appliances’ Builder Sales organization! In this role, you will work with members of the Contract Sales team on a variety of different projects supporting our Government, Home Warranty, Direct Property Management, and Multi Family customers. In this position, you will learn to place and track orders, navigate our new pricing system, Price FX, as well as process returns and create a sales analysis. You will collaborate with an Area Sales Manager supporting our Direct customers to ensure orders are processed. Strong verbal and written communication are critical for this role as you will be working with delivery agents, customers and internal support teams.

This position is based in Louisville, KY and consists of a year-long internship working part-time during the school semester and full-time during the Summer.

How You'll Create Possibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Included but not limited to:

  • Consumer research and analyzing industry trends.

  • Development of marketing and sales materials

  • Written and verbal communications with customers, delivery agents, and internal support teams at GE Appliances

  • Customer Support - placing and tracking customer orders, processing returns

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or better in business, finance, sales, marketing or similar degree program

  • May 2026 or later graduation date

  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States now and in the future. GE Appliances will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week throughout school year and 40 hours per week over summer during normal business hours (Mon. - Fri. 8:00am – 5:00pm)

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, is reliable & able to maintain high attendance standards.
