The Pennsylvania Lottery is seeking an experienced, energetic sales professional to serve a specific sales territory.

As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will provide product, guidance and support to existing retailers while actively working with them to increase their sales. You will also use your sales skills to recruit new retailers, educate them on the benefits of joining our retailer network and provide strategies that will help them succeed.  Best of all, you'll be working for one of the most-respected brands in Pennsylvania and on behalf of a very important mission: to generate funding to benefit older Pennsylvanians. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will be required to navigate a web-based portal, be PC and iPad proficient, read and interpret sales data, communicate effectively with business owners and customers the value of Lottery products, and provide detailed information about procedures and the products. You will interact and engage players at retailer events, work with other sales representatives at retailer events and, when necessary, while conducting normal business, lift/carry up to 40 lbs. This position works overtime on a limited basis and is expected to work/drive in all types of weather conditions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: 

  • Full-time employment.
  • This position is home headquartered, and the employee would be expected to report to their area office on a weekly basis.
  • Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • There may be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 am to 7:30 pm for one week to maintain operational efficiency and maximize service to the Lottery and the public. 
  • Travel in all types of weather conditions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or
  • Any equivalent experience and training. 

     

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be in possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license which is not currently under suspension.
  • This position will travel to cover Lancaster County. Candidate must reside in the following zip codes (relocation is not an option): 17022, 17502, 17545, 17547, 17550, 17552, 17570.
  • You must have four or more years of sales experience. 
  • You must have four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
  • You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • Must be able to travel in all types of weather conditions.
