SCOPE: The Product Design Engineer is an important part of the Cleveland Based-Engineering department and reports to the Engineering Manager.Under the scope of this position the Product Design Engineer is responsible for developing new offerings utilizing the latest configurations and technologies. As part of a cross functional team, the Product Design Engineer will lead product customization processes, utilizing historical data and improving upon design features, based upon customer request. This entails conferring with external customers to define their requirements while working with internal cross-functional department team members to create designs that are cost effective, efficiently manufacturable and which exceed the end user's expectations.
