Job summary:

Supports the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards for manufacturing and production. Performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards. Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments /business units to appropriately remedy them. Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes and procedures. May perform audits and risk assessments.

Specific Responsibility:

  1. Create complete customer documentation packets based on individual customer requirements, including first articles customer forms, certifications and physical property reports.

  2. Interpret customer prints, PO’s and quality clause requirements and ensure that our documentation satisfies those requirements.

  3. Support Greene Tweeds QMS customer satisfaction and verification of purchased product by active participation in 8D’s and customer corrective actions including evaluation of data and generating summary reports.

  4. Works with customer to provide product data, inspection data, first articles, certifications and shipping information for customer online programs to satisfy customer special requirements.

  5. Achieves Certification for and Performs Designated Quality Representative duties as directed by Customer Supplier Release programs (may involve yearly travel).

  6. Supports Customer Process Audits and Product Substantiation Reviews with Customers onsite

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education: HS Diploma required, degree preferred

Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Strong teamwork and time management skills required. Experience in customer service, or the ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication (written & oral) skills required. Continual improvement exposure, including an understanding of LEAN concepts in a Manufacturing environment desired. The ability to adapt and a willingness to adjust to changes in plans, direction or area requirements required. An understanding of functional SAP knowledge preferred, along with computer literacy skills that can be applied to documentation analysis. Qualified (or able and willing to achieve qualification) as a Lead Auditor required
