ITT Corporation Trade Compliance Coordinator in Irvine, California
Will assist in the administration of programs to ensure compliance with U.S. Export/Import regulations as outlined by the Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and other regulatory agencies.
Will assist in maintaining an export/import control infrastructure and processes in accordance with ITT Connect and Control Technologies (CCT) requirements, trade (export/import) licensing applications and trade documentation and recordkeeping. Duties will include generating export licenses for Department of State and Department of Commerce, working with freight forwarders to obtain/audit AES filings, and may assist in developing an audit program for improving compliance activities. Will work closely with various functional areas including Engineering & Purchasing. Additional trade-related duties may be added as time/experience permits.

Skills and Experience:
BS/BA degree in Business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience with 4 -6 years of trade compliance experience . Must have working knowledge of the ITAR, EAR, and OFAC and be familiar with U.S. Customs regulations . Requires operational knowledge of compliance processes and procedures within U.S. businesses and U.S. Government agencies. Knowledge of government systems such as DTRADE, SNAP-R and ACE preferred. Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, M2M and AS400 also preferred.
