Corewell Health Gift Shop Coordinator Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Gift shop coordinator Part Time, Wednesday's and Friday's 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Every other weekend 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay: $15.45/HR

Job Summary

Responsible for collecting money, making change and utilizing the cash register appropriately. Maintains a clean and orderly work area according to standards.

Essential Functions

  • Sets up cash register station according to standard and maintains clean work area.

  • Collects payments, makes change and operates the cash register and cash handling equipment in an accurate and professional manner.

  • Stocks sales floor and performs support functions as designated per standard.

  • Counts, balances drawer, records totals, and deposits money to appropriate location, in an accurate manner as directed by management.

  • Provides excellent customer service.

  • Performs general sanitation responsibilities as assigned.

  • Drives towards meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Addresses customer experience and problem solves in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 6 months of relevant experience retail cashiering Preferred
