ASM Global Assistant Box Office Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Project management of individual show builds and inventory management while working with show management and promoters to facilitate all ticketing requirements.

· Event day management of box office including financial settlement of shows.

· Working from home in response to “after hours” urgent event requests as part of “on call” monthly scheduling.

· Compiling daily sales reports and accountability of monies.

· Facilitate training of part-time ticket seller staff including implementation of evolving technologies and best practices.

· Sell tickets as needed via Ticketmaster and AXS ticketing systems.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with venue tenants, show promoters, tour management, and internal facility departments promoting organizational efficiency.

· Provide exceptional customer service to all guests within our facilities.

· Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays a MUST.

· All other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Solid organizational skills, ability to handle cash, basic accounting, and prior ticket sales a MUST.

· Excellent organizational and communications skills required.

· Working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Windows.

· Ticketmaster HOST and ARCHTICS experience preferred, but not mandatory.
