SUMMARY Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes through work instructions, process flows, continuous improvement, and root cause corrective actions in a machine shop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities New product implementation to production lines Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to machining Provide technical feedback in support of production Disposition discrepant material created during production processes Inspect product and interpret customer requirements Define manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, fixturing, and methods Develop, review and improve documentation Drive root cause corrective actions Interface with customers and suppliers on technical issues Create and prove CNC programs manually and with CAM software Create and maintain processes that comply to all safety policies Estimate machine processing times to support quoting and production Maintain ERP/MRP system and BOM Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement

Job Qualifications Strong background in creating CNC machining processes Knowledge of various types of machine tools and their capabilities Knowledge of inspection tools and methods Knowledge of common aerospace plating processes such as chemical film and anodize Knowledge of special processing such as heat-treat, passivate, and penetrant inspection Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, clients, customers, and the general public Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements Bachelors degree or Associates degree + 2 years related experience preferred. In lieu of degree, relevant experience and work history required. 3+ years of engineering experience in machining environment Proficient using CAD/CAM software to create machining processes Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PPT Mazatrol knowledge is desired

This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

The pay range for this role is $65,507 - $117,913. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.

The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: June 15, 2024.
