Veralto FP&A Analyst in Glen Allen, Virginia

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as quality control during the financial review, performing accounting research, validating costs and providing feedback to the accounting team to make corrections if needed.

  • Proactively collaborate with departments leaders to drive accurate forecasting and variance analysis and to assist the Global FP&A Manager in planning for and monitoring departments costs.

  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure adequate support of their functions.

  • Lead daily, monthly, and quarterly costing accuracy activities – acting as the gate keeper for reliable costing in our systems – Works closely with the Procurement, Supply Chain and Product Management functions to make sure all cost are accurate and up to date.

  • Investment decision support for global Capital Expenditures (CapEx). Partner with key stakeholders to create/validate capital budgeting analysis (NPV/ROI/IRR) and communicate with decision makers based on the ChemTreat’s Delegation of Authority.

  • Responsible for global capital expenditure requests, including reviewing, analyzing, routing for approvals, and tracking versus forecast.

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.

  • Be instrumental during Budgeting, Financial Forecasting and financial reviews supporting the functional teams.

  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

  • Experience using financial reporting tools such as Excel, Power Bi, PowerPoint, and Word.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell.

  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.

  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
