Aston Carter Sales Manager in Franklin, Massachusetts

Description:

Sell Storage products and services in our Central Sales Region.

Achieve annual sales quota for the Central Sales Region.

Manage and navigate the overall end-to-end sales process (lead to closure).

Possess a strong application knowledge of how the company’s products and services solve customer

problems and create customer value.

Professionally and accurately represent storage and its products and services to the marketplace.

Make recommendations for product improvement and pricing.

Recommend pricing strategies in bid and competitive quote situations.

Develop, grow, and manage sales region to achieve maximum sales coverage for the optimum sales expense.

Target key accounts and develop consistent, long-term sales account strategies.

Attend and participate in trade shows, seminars, and conferences.

Presents company products, technologies, and services in sales situations.

Investigate all sales leads, determine potential, and regularly report on this information.

Comprehensive use of company CRM for lead, contact, and sales pipeline management.

Investigates all competitive bid opportunities and reports on competitive activity.

Participates in sales meetings and strategy sessions to further company marketing and sales programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in the sciences or engineering disciplines.

Must have 4+ years of accomplished field sales experience in the life science/scientific products industry.

Possess a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.

Prior CRM experience.

Possess a current customer contact list from end-user through VP levels.

Facilities and refrigeration experience a plus

Demonstrate automation products and technologies to prospective customers.

Experience with selling small – large capital projects.

Must have good working knowledge of computers and software. Very strong Microsoft Word, Excel,

Outlook, and PowerPoint skills. Database/ERP software (SQL, MS D365) experience a plus.

Must have excellent business development, territory management and planning skills.

Must be able to travel within the United States and Canada and hold a valid auto driver’s license in their

home state.

Must live within a 1-2 hour drive of major airport.

Proven customer relationship skills including excellent track record of successful account management.

Motivated, organized, goal oriented, proactive, and persistent work ethic.

Excellent verbal, written and customer presentation skills
