W&M Fire Protection Services Outside Sales Representative in Darien, Connecticut

As part of the W&M Fire Protection family (a subsidiary of Davis-Ulmer Fire Protection), Integrated Protection Services is a growing commercial systems integrator and service provider. Our Connecticut office is now in its 18th year as a leading regional provider (southwestern CT and Westchester County NY) of security and fire systems/services. Due to continued growth, our Darien, CT location is looking to add an Outside Sales Rep to our team! We are looking for someone who has strong relationship-building skills and who will generate new project/installation as well as recurring service business. This role will build a book of business in Fairfield and West Chester counties.

Experience and Qualities Required:

  • At least 5 years of full-time experience in commercial sales of security systems and services.

  • Build and maintain business by developing relationships with general contractors and construction managers, architects, engineers, electrical contractors, IT providers.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree, with BA/BS degree preferred.

  • Be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as a team player.

    Compensation:

  • First 6 months: salary of $5000/month.

  • Commission-based compensation starting in month 7. Commissions paid on both “one-time” installation as well as “recurring service” sales.
