The Cortland Housing Authority has an opening for a FT Building Maintenance Foreperson.

Work days and hours: M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm, FT (40+ hours with on-call, mandatory overtime). Must possess 3 years of FT or its PT equivalent experience in general building maintenance or skilled trades. Position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Starting annual salary is $49, 920 plus excellent benefits package.

Successful completion of (1) a Class C Public Water System Operator Certification and (2) a Cross Connection and Backflow Prevention Device Certification within twelve (12) months of appointment. Failure to obtain/maintain certifications throughout employment will result in disciplinary action or dismissal. This is a tested position.

This is an administrative and supervisory position responsible for planning, directing and supervising the maintenance operations of the Cortland Housing Authority. The work is performed in accordance with general policies and objectives outlined by the Executive Director. Supervision is exercised over all subordinate maintenance staff. Does related work as required. This is a salaried position.
