Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the use of sound business judgment in dealing with all staff to ensure policies and procedures are upheld.

• Manage the following HR Functional Areas: Staffing, Training, Safety, Compliance, Employee Relations, HRIS, Benefits and CBA implementation

• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews in absence of Director

· Perform benefit administration; including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment.

• Monitor and Manage career pathing and performance evaluation programs

· Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and preserving all automated and manual personnel records, including Performance Improvement Communication Plan and Personnel Action Forms, in accordance with record retention standards

· Oversea employee relations including, birthday cards, employee of the month celebrations, holiday party, monthly outings, annual activities and parties

Requirements

General Requirements

• College degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources required

• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred

• Union background experience preferred

• Background in the hospitality, golf/country club, or food & beverage industry a plus

• Must possess considerable knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems and principles required
