What Territory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Territory Management is responsible for prospecting and nurturing new accounts, while simultaneously fortifying existing relationships that will increase revenue growth and market penetration. Focus areas will include influencing and supporting both new and existing Health Care Professionals, while engaging with key manufacturer partners within Cardinal Health’s Diabetes division.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the benefits of Edgepark’s capabilities for the Diabetes portfolio (Continuous Glucose Monitors and Insulin Delivery) with call points to Endocrinology, Primary Care, and Internal Medicine clinics within a specified territory

  • Influence and support high and low prescribing physicians, diabetes education nurses, other health care professionals, office/hospital administrative staff, and manufacturers to prescribe Diabetes products through Edgepark

  • Educate health care professionals on medical policy and order processing

  • Partner with Managed Care, Marketing, and Customer Operations teams to facilitate territory sales growth

  • Leverage Edgepark’s vast payor network to amplify access awareness and execute strategic commercialization efforts

  • Understand Edgepark’s diabetes supply category and ordering process, while demonstrating knowledge of industry trends, developments, key competitors, terminology, technology, challenges, reimbursement, and government regulation

  • Increase Edgepark’s market share and meet/exceed territory sales targets and KPIs in line with company expectations

  • Utilize Edgepark’s sales tools and resources to effectively execute territory management through data-driven decisions

  • Implement Edgepark’s commercial strategies and monitor progress towards sales goal achievement using Edgepark analytical tools

  • Build and grow high-level, long-term, trusted consultative relationships

  • Complete all administrative requirements in a timeline fashion as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 3+ years related sales experience (referral generation, manufacturer product sales, managed care/market access sales), preferred

  • Documented track record of sales success with proven knowledge in business area

  • Knowledge of regional hospital systems preferred

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established goals

  • Highly effective organizational skills

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to travel at least 40% of time (occasional overnights required)

  • Influential, with the ability to increase account profitability

  • Advanced computer skills, with experience in systems such as Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to facilitate internal and external constituents’ needs independently or with minimal guidance

  • Valid driver's license

  • Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided during if you are selected for an interview

Anticipated pay range: $101,000 - $145,000 (includes targeted variable pay)
