Sodexo Schools is seeking a General Manager 5 Food - Schools to lead our partnership with a school district located in near Blacksburg, Virginia. The General Manager 5 will direct all contract management service operations This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the future growth and success of our school food programs. Experience in K-12 Child Nutrition and NSLP required.

The successful candidate will:

• Have oversight of day-to-day operations;

• Deliver high quality food service;

• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

• Develop strategic plans;

• Create a positive environment;and/or

• Ensure Sodexo standards Servsafe.

• Servsafe Certified

• Have K12 schools leadership experience in a multi-unit account

• Knowledge of USDA and State, Federal regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement – Associate’s Degree, with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
