Service Reliability and Productivity Engineer

PLEASE NOTE PRIOR TO APPLYING:

This position is located in the Bangalore India and will require the selected candidate to live locally. The role will require a mix of in office/remote work especially during initial onboarding and training.

What you will do:

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Additionally, you will specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

What you will bring:

Required:

• B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree

• 3-5 years of software development experience in large scale system

• Java, Python, or C++ programming language

• Experience in using and performing development work with Linux OS

• Solid Cloud Infrastructure architecture knowledge

Preferred:

• Experience as an SRE, Productivity Engineer, or related role with build and script automation experience

• Project lead experience in software project delivery within multi-teams’ environment

• Large scale deployment experience with the ability to understand system level design to solve technical problems

• Strong software system level debugging experience

• Experience with Exadata system and Database concept

About Exadata:

Oracle Exadata is a database machine designed by Oracle that provides users with optimized functionality pertaining to enterprise class databases and their associated workloads. Exadata is a composite database server machine that uses Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata Storage Server, on Oracle hardware server equipment.
