Job Title: General Labor: III (Senior)

About the Role:

Job Description:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Technical education or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in motor control systems maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.

• Hands-on experience with motor control circuits, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related electrical components.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Experience with installing, configuring, and programming VFDs and motor control systems.

• Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting is a plus.

• Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.

• Safety Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and arc flash safety.

• Ability to identify and mitigate electrical hazards to ensure a safe working environment.

• Problem-Solving Abilities:

• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in motor control systems efficiently.

• Experience conducting root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
