Sterling Specialty Chemicals, LLC Material Handler - Bagger Section in Amory, Mississippi

-Process monitring-blender fill/empty rates, dust collector. -Control room operation -communicate with both lines 1 & 2 control room operators. -Outsided operations - follow packaging instructions, prepare blends and cutback products, lablel packed product correctly, monitor particle size, prepare samples for lab, maintain good inventory of all packaging supplies, up load rail and stage product for warehouse operators. -Preventive and predictive maintence. -Troubleshooting -Housekeeping -Complete all Company training -Assist in on-the-job training -Assist in RCA, BBS and all other teams asked to be a part in -Write maintenance notifications.

Requirements -Computer literate-Email, Word, Excel, etc. -Requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. -Completion of Work Key's test -

SILVER OR ABOVE -The forklift operator requires satifactory completion of a forklift training program. -Drug Screen, physical Exam and Background Check required -Respirator training required. Clean Shave Policy -An Understanding and awareness of Chemicals and their nature, hazards, safety, and health issues etc. (MSDS's use of PPE etc.) -Must abide by all workplace policies and procedures -Must have a strong work ethic, demonstrating both initative and a professional attitude. -Must have a willingness to learn the required competencies to be successful. -Must have a good interpersonal skills with the abilit to work in a team enviornment and effectively convey pertinent written and verbal information. -Candidate must have excellent communication skills -Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders/stairs, be able to lift 70 lbs. or more, work at heights and in confined spaces. -Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and work ininclement weather. -A working knowledge of the mechanics and operation of different types of process equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, agitators, instrumentation, and controls etc). -Must be able to apply mechanical fundamentals to properly operated, maintain, and improve the performance of the equipment within their area of responsibility.
