ITT Corporation Sales Representative in Alexandria, Virginia
Manage a sales territory selling engineered pumping equipment and services for consistent growth and revenues of ITT Goulds Pumps Industrial Process within the specific assigned territory. This is accomplished through development of new and existing contractor and EPC customers within the territory. Position is responsible for sales planning and achieving an annual sales forecast by meeting growth targets for a set territory.
The successful candidate can live and work anywhere from New Jersey to South Carolina and is expected to travel within the sales territory regularly.
Develop customers for increased portfolio sales by consultative selling and solution selling in an effort to meet all territory forecast and growth objectives.
Establish a positive personal relationship with key buying influences at target accounts.
Makes sales presentations to customers demonstrating our capabilities.
Establish and maintain Value Based Commercial Excellence (VBCE) account plans for the territory.
Maintain an E-Quote Log on all open quotes in the territory.
- Communicate to Sales Management via a monthly report on competitor information, customer needs, market conditions, issues, successes and sales efforts.

Skills and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or combination of education & experience.
Experience: Mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical equipment; training in assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting of pumps; experience in paper mill, chemical, oil & gas, or utility plants.
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience: display high degree of independence, requires little management guidance to meet objectives.
